A home check means that someone will literally come and check your home, where the future dog will stay. This is only made by an authorized person or a known rescuer so no worries there. If a dog is too small or doesn`t look good, it won`t sale! When a small dog is not sold, it will be thrown away to whomever is willing to pay anything on it. The pet shop will aim to recover it`s initial investment. Labradors also known as Newfoundland breed, originated from Canada and are big sized dogs(aprox. 60cm high, 35 kg) easy to train and generally healthy.
Have taken our dogs to Dr. Lavallee for over 10 years and he is great with each of them. He and his staff are very caring and helpful. Any dog, even a grown-up with a defined character could easily be sent into a foster.

Cur mix, male, approx 1.5y, neutered, no vaccines. Good with other dogs and people, unknown if good with cats. Lab mix, female, approx 8m, good with other dogs and people, unknown if good with cats. Lab mix, female, approx 8-9m, good with other dogs and people, unknown if good with cats. She loves to play chase and tug of war, and is a ball full of energy. She also has a very calm side which will bring you peace at home so she knows when to play and not to play.
Through an exceptional coincidence, we took her in foster next to her former owner who claimed her back but "lost" her again. We helped recover a wonderful 4 years old german shepherd cross. She was found in an abandoned yard, barely living. We treated her and found how loving and affectionate she was.
Adopt a Pet
White and Brown with beautiful golden eyes. There are no fees but reimbursement of vet bills are asked. Half white and half reddish blonde. She needs more time and space than we have. Meet Shelby- she is a 2 year old & 65 lbs of pure love.
She is a lovely dog and will always be there for the right person. The dog rescue centers are well organized locations where you can find help and guidance besides the dog itself. These centers also engage in long term hosting of the respective animals. They are treating their dogs for sale like toys, neglecting the animal`s need for affection. The shops are stuffing the puppies with food that will make them look better temporarily, just like a soda drink is wrapped in a fancy coloured pack.

He was found on the street and brought to our shelter where he had to fight scab, Parvovirosis canina and distemper. He was a nutty and always hungry, kind of big for the tiny cage. His transformation was amazing when freed from the cage. Dixie is an indoor/outdoor dog that loves attention. Not very playful but would love open land to run on.
Unable to keep due to new job and living arrangement. Middle of a snow storm a few days ago. They actually called me while in route to see if I was ok. Called today to see how everything was going. I really was very impressed with this office.

Sadie was born sept 10th 2022, she has her first puppy shots. Keisha came to the shelter after her owner was on the verge of losing her home. Gabbona is a 2-3 year old playful mastiff mix.

We spend countless hours rehabilitating our dogs to give them a better chance for a home. Molly and Dolly are two lovely sisters who resemble this breed although we are not familiar with their siblings, as they were abandoned at our gates. They are young, gentle and energetic, still waiting to go home.
We DO NOT operate on a first come first serve basis and we ensure all members are on board with the adoption. We are a small rescue dedicated to the welfare of unwanted dogs in rural southeast Texas. All of our dogs are located in Texas. We adopt directly to homes in the northeast in order to leave more homes available for the other dogs in our area. We adopt directly to homes in Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vermont, and surrounding states.
What we haven't mentioned yet is that you are making us a great favour too. As you probably know, shelters are full and stray dogs in need are everywhere. Puppies for sale, dogs for sale, we see these in almost every shopping centre near us.
Bluey is a beautiful Husky/Cattle Dog mix. She is a sweet playful girl who landed at Animal Control in rural Mississippi as a stray. She loves to play with her friend Rusty and loves everyone she meets. These are usually state-owned facilities where people abandon their pets. They are also called animal shelters or dog pounds.
